Living room in Kimpton Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City, an IHG Hotel
The staff was mostly friendly, some more than others. The room was lovely and modern, yet not cold feeling. The housekeeping left the shower head facing straight on toward whoever turned on the water outside the shower. I ended up waking up fast with a blast of cold water to the face. I am sure the housekeepers got a kick out of that but we reflected that in our tip. It is a nice hotel and I definitely would recommend this particular hotel to family and friends.

The booking process was easy. The check-in process was seamless. The front desk texted me to see how I was doing. I was able to ask many questions and I received an immediate response. I also was granted late check-out that helped me out tremendously. The staff was extremely friendly. The restaurant was very good and the other restaurants the hotel recommended were amazing! I also appreciated that you needed a key card to use the elevator.

It's the only hotel I've been to in Salt Lake City, so I can't really make comparisons, but it was a very comfortable room for a reasonable price (compared to hotels in many other destinations), and the location was surprisingly good (we caught a musical on a National Tour just across the street!) Very quiet other than the sound of the heating itself.

We were upgraded to a suite which had a living area and bedroom which was very nice as we were visiting family so they could come up to room and catch up with us. The location was great with easy access to restaurants and night life. Valet parking was convenient courteous and prompt.
